The Geogarden, between Kettler Hall and Neff Hall, features a variety of local rock specimens and vegetation (visit the Geogarden Virtual Tour). Experience an oasis of green on the Native Trees of Indiana River Walk, located along the banks of St. Joseph River. The bronze mastodon statue, which memorializes IPFW’s unique mascot, is a life-sized model of the prehistoric creature located in Walb Plaza. Relax at the Friends Pavilion, built by students under the direction of Architectural Engineering Professor Matt Kubik near Walb Student Union. The SCAN Children’s Garden, located northwest of the Visual Arts Building, was created by joint efforts of SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) and IPFW.
