Walb Student Union
Welcome to student life central at IPFW! Walb Student Union is the hub for numerous extracurricular activities and houses more than 100 student organizations — from the Anthropology Club to the Waterski and Wakeboard Team. It also features Studio M, a multimedia lab where students can create interactive presentations, 3-D animations, audio recordings, and other digital media. Some alumni may remember the Walb Student Union’s flood of 1982 — staff and students used boats to travel through the building’s basement! Walb Student Union will soon serve as the center of the new Student Services Complex. The complex, slated to break ground as early as 2009, will join Gates Sports Center, Helmke Library, Walb Student Union, and a parking garage and serve as the center for student life.
